Part-time Office Administrator
Position overview:
This person will be responsible for organizing and coordinating company-wide office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. They will provide general office management support as well as front desk reception coverage. The administrative activities of this role require strong organization skills with the capacity to multi-task and collaborate in a high-paced interactive environment.
JOB / DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage office vendor relationships including corporate travel, credit card programs, office supplies, stationery, etc.
- Communicate standard procedures for employees and contractors as they relate to office services (procurement of office supplies, etc.)
- Assist in budget forecast projection for office management accounts
- Identify, recommend and implement process improvements to make the office run more efficiently
- Create purchase orders for vendor accounts
- Maintain office efficiency, proactively ensuring office areas are kept clean, safe and organized
- Work with facilities to provide feedback on custodial services
- Provide back-up coverage for reception; duties include greeting guests, answering phones
- Other administrative duties or special projects as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge / Education
- High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelors preferred
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office
Job Experience

Minimum of 1-3 years experience in an administrative support or similar role ; experience managing relevant office processes required (i.e. travel programs, credit card programs, office supplies)
Skills / Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal skills; with professional written and oral communication skills
- Dependable, highly organized and very detail oriented, with strong follow-through
- Possess strong problem resolution and project management skills
- Excellent customer-service focus
- Decision making and analysis skills including negotiation of vendor accounts
- Ability to exercise independent judgment to perform, manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds: this person will need to stock office and kitchen supplies
- No overnight business travel is required for this position. Some travel between local building sites and to local vendors is occassionally required.
