JOB / DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
This candidate will be responsible for monitoring and transacting inventory replenishment requirements in a Kanban/cGMP manufacturing environment. Other responsibilities include:
- Physically and systemically moves and records the transaction of production materials to support a continuous production flow
- Counts, weighs, and records materials transacted via data entry move tickets in a time sensitive environment
- Works with Purchasing, Production Control & Quality departments to prioritize inventory through Incoming Inspection
- Performs data entry, reconciles inventory, and generates production /material activity reports
- Performs Cycle Counting in support of a perpetual inventory and/or periodical inventory
- Maintains stocking levels on the manufacturing floor (ECR)
- Ensure proper labeling requirements of transacted inventory material
- Support or assist in the Receiving and Shipping functions
- Maintain efficient and organized stocking locations
Requirements
Knowledge / Education
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Job Experience
Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Material Handler preferably in a Medical Device Environment
Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Material Handler preferably in a Medical Device Environment
Skills / Competencies
- Experience with QAD MFG Pro ERP Software preferred but not required
- Must be able to lift and transfer up to 50 lbs
- Know how to operate a pallet jack
- Proficient in business environment software applications - MS Office
- Detail-oriented
