With open enrollment starting in October, you can finally choose the Omnipod® System through
Medicare Part D.

Coverage through the Part D pharmacy benefit means:

  • Coverage for patients with both type 1 and type 2 diabetes
  • Streamlined electronic fulfillment process
  • Convenient access to supplies through pharmacy or mail order
  • You’re no longer locked into a 5-year pump contract

PDM and Pod

If you’re not covered on an eligible Medicare plan, you can still get an initial coverage determination in 72 hours or less. Here’s all you need to do:

If your coverage is approved, you may be eligible to receive reimbursement for the Omnipod® System.

*At start up, Pod and PDM must be adjacent and touching. During normal operations, Pod must be within 5 feet (1.5 meters) of the PDM.

*The Omnipod® System  has a waterproof IPX8 rating for up to 25 feet for 60 minutes; the Personal Diabetes Manager is not waterproof.
