The Omnipod® 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System is now the first tubeless automated insulin delivery system integrated with the Dexcom G6 Sensor to be approved by Health Canada. This brings us one step closer to making Omnipod 5 available to Canadian patients. As we work toward making new Omnipod options available, we are committed to ensuring a simple and positive experience for customers and healthcare providers alike.
Insulet is building a training and onboarding program to ensure a seamless Omnipod 5 experience. We are also working with public and private payers to secure reimbursement as quickly as possible. Please keep in mind that this process can take some time to secure after Health Canada approval.
