UK Modern Slavery Act Statement
Insulet is committed to conduct its activities in a way that promotes ethical values and behavior, reflects dealing fairly in business, upholds labor rights, supports health and safety in the workplace and doing business in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This commitment is reflected in our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. Insulet is committed to ensuring that its employees, suppliers and distributors abide by these standards.
This Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement applies to Insulet Corporation (incorporated in the United States) and its affiliates (collectively, “Insulet”), including Insulet International Limited, incorporated in England & Wales (“Insulet International”), which is the United Kingdom sales and marketing affiliate of Insulet Corporation. It is made in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act of 2015 with respect to calendar year 2019 (and the partial calendar year of 2018).
Insulet International commenced operations and direct distribution of Insulet products in the United Kingdom in July 2018.
Insulet has systems in place to identify, assess and manage the risks of slavery and human trafficking in its product supply chain.
- Insulet reviews these risks through on-site inspections and reviews at key suppliers’ facilities for the purpose of ensuring that materials incorporated into Insulet's products comply with applicable laws regarding slavery and human trafficking in the countries in which they are doing business.
- Insulet Quality teams conduct regular audits to evaluate key suppliers’ compliance.
- All employees are trained on the Insulet Code of Business Conduct and Ethics annually, and relevant portions of the Code are communicated to suppliers and distributors.
